Toledo, Ohio— Toledo and Miami started their three-game Mid-American Conference baseball series on Friday, with the RedHawks topping the Rockets, 10-6.
Toledo held a brief 2-1 lead through five innings, but surrendered five runs in the top of the fifth. A three-run sixth inning for UT made it a one-run game, but the Midnight Blue and Gold would come no closer in Friday's loss.
Senior started for the Rockets and struck out five in four innings. Five other pitchers saw time for UT, including junior who threw two innings in his team-leading 11th appearance of the season.
