TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women's tennis team faced a tough 7-0 loss to Cincinnati on Friday afternoon at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club. With the loss, UT drops to 3-5 on the season.
"We definitely did not have our best performance today," said Head Coach Tracy Mauntler. "I don't to take anything away from Cincinnati because they are a great team. However, we didn't play them with the fire that we are capable of."
Junior Colleen O'Brien forced the Bearcat's Kelly Poggensee-Wei to three sets at No. 2 singles, claiming a win in the opening set, 6-2, but then fell, 6-4, 6-4, to drop the match.
