KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Senior got his revenge on the No. 1 singles court and clinched match point in a 4-3 victory for the Toledo men's tennis team at Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon. The Rockets avenged a 4-3 loss to WMU at home on March 17, and have now won their last three matches on the Broncos' home court, including the finals of the 2023 MAC Championships.
Sornlaksup took the court vs. Anton Arzhankin, who ended Sornlaksup's two-year, undefeated (22-0) conference record in the March 17 match. Sornlaksup lost the first set 6-2, fought back to win the second set 6-4, and clinched the tiebreaker 6-2 that broke the 3-3 deadlock and won the match for the Rockets.
