Columbus, OH – Toledo was edged by Ohio State, 9-8, at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium on Wednesday, March 30. UT used a three-run inning in the ninth to take the lead, but OSU hit a walk-off double to win. With the loss, the Rockets fall to 4-21-1 and 0-2-1 against the Buckeyes this season.
Offensively, Toledo was led by sophomore 1B Dalton Bollinger, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles, one of which tied OSU in the ninth. Sophomore OF AJ Montoya ripped his third home run in as many games and his fifth of the season while driving in two RBI.
