Ann Arbor, MI – Toledo was edged in a close contest with No. 18 Michigan (26-9), 2-1, at Ray Fisher Stadium. No runs were scored until the sixth, and Michigan gained the lead in the eighth. With the loss, the Rockets fall to 8-29-1.
"I was proud of the way our guys bounced back after the loss yesterday," head coach Cory Mee said. "We created some opportunities, which is a good sign, but now we need to come back and get that clutch hit. We played a clean game against a top-25 opponent."
