TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's golf team has received Special Recognition for posting an impressive 3.78 grade-point average as part of the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Outstanding Team Academic honors, the organization announced on Thursday.
The Rockets posted an impressive 3.819 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.734 GPA in the spring semester. Toledo is one of 54 programs to receive special recognition out of the nearly 300 schools that sponsor NCAA Division I men's golf.
"We are extremely proud to be recognized by the GCAA," Head Coach Jeff Roope said.
