KALAMAZOO, Mich – Toledo (8-8, 0-3 MAC) fell to Western Michigan (7-9, 1-2 MAC) in a west-division matchup on Friday evening.
"We competed very well at spots but we need everyone to step up at the same time against these tough MAC opponents," said Head Coach Tracy Mauntler. "with such a quick turnaround this weekend, our team is already back on track and focused on NIU."
WMU took control of the doubles competition. The Broncos clinched the point by downing UT at second and third doubles.
Junior Colleen O'Brien stepped up for the Rockets and was the first to claim a victory in the singles competition.
