Toledo, Ohio— The Toledo baseball team dropped both games of its Sunday doubleheader with Central Michigan, falling 7-1 in game one and 18-3 in game two. Both games were played at Mercy Field.
The Rockets were unable to overcome a potent CMU offensive attack on Sunday. Game one was close until a four-run seventh inning for the Chippewas put the game out of reach for UT. Game two was all CMU from the get-go, and 12 runs over the final four innings put an emphatic end to the weekend series for Central Michigan.
Next up for the Rockets are a pair of non-conference midweek games.
