Lincoln, Nebr. – Toledo (9-7) dropped a close 4-3 match to Big Ten member Nebraska (3-8) on Friday evening at the Husker's Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center.
The Rockets jumped ahead, 1-0, by winning the battle for the doubles point. Toledo initially fell behind by losing at No. 2 doubles but secured wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots to put UT ahead in the contest. Senior Stjepan Sisko and freshman Thawin Suksathaporn claimed a decisive 6-2 victory over their Husker rivalry at the top of the lineup even the score at one match apiece.
