MUNCIE, Ind. - The Toledo baseball team was beaten for the 10th-straight game, 7-6 in walk-off fashion by Ball State, on Sunday afternoon at Ball Diamond.
The Rockets (14-33, 7-11 MAC) were led by sophomore Ross Adolph who went 3-for-4 with a double and scored a pair of runs. Freshman collected a single, a double and drove two runs to cap an outstanding weekend.
Toledo jumped ahead with three runs in the opening inning for the second consecutive game but could not hold onto the lead. Sophomore Riley Campbell and junior Matt Hansen walked with one out and both stole a base to reach scoring position.
