MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – Toledo split a doubleheader against Central Michigan (12-26, 10-18 MAC) on Tuesday afternoon at Margo Jonker Stadium by winning the opener 12-5 and falling in the nightcap by a 3-1 margin.
Senior (17-12) earned the victory for the Rockets (23-20, 13-14 MAC) in Game One by hurling her MAC-best 21 complete game of the season.
Sophomore paced Toledo's attack in the opener with three hits in addition to scoring a pair of runs. Sophomore drove in a team-high three runs on two hits, while senior notched two RBIs with a double and single.
