FINDLAY — Tod Kowalczyk schedules the University of Toledo’s annual exhibition game at Findlay to put his team in an antagonistic environment and find out how they react.
The response on Sunday afternoon was filled with delight, as the Rockets cruised to a 95-70 victory over Findlay, exhibiting a level of offensive supremacy and chaos on defense that Kowalczyk hopes elevates UT to an unprecedented fourth consecutive Mid-American Conference championship and beyond.
“I said from the beginning that this is probably the most talented team we’ve had,” Kowalczyk said. “Now we have to keep them humble and find consistency.
