TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo cross country teams will embark on the first race of the 2022 season this Friday in Athens, Ohio at the Ohio XC Invitational. The men's race begins at 11:00 a.m., followed by the women's race at noon. Both races will be 5,000m.
Earlier this week, the Toledo women were picked sixth and men picked 14th in the USTFCCCA Division I Cross Country Great Lakes Regional Preseason Coaches Rankings.
The Rockets return the six of their top seven runners from the women's 2021 MAC Championships team, including meet winner and Freshman of the Year Joy Chirchir.
