INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Toledo women's volleyball team started its weekend off with a three-set sweep of Western Illinois on Friday at IUPUI's Hampton Inn Invitational. The victory pushes the Rockets' record to 3-1 this season.
"That was the great team effort and the kind of performance we talked about having all week: stringing together wins and executing our game plan from week to week," said head coach Jason Oliver said. " Our serve and pass was great, and we forced Western Illinois into some bad situations. We need to get that same type of effort tomorrow.
