The Rockets have won their last three games, including a 64-53 home triumph over Northern Illinois (17-11, 9-7 MAC) on Saturday.
UT is currently in fifth place in the overall MAC standings with two regular-season contests remaining.
The Rockets, who are 7-6 away from home this season, can still clinch a first-round bye in the MAC Tournament if they win both of their final two contests, coupled with either Ohio (23-4, 12-4 MAC) or Buffalo (19-8, 11-5 MAC) losing their last two games.
