University of Toledo athletic director Bryan Blair has been extended through June 30, 2030, UT announced on Monday.
Blair began his tenure in 2022 as the youngest FBS AD in the country. He’s made an impact as a forward-thinking leader, deftly navigating the continually changing college sports landscape.
Toledo has won 13 Mid-American Conference championships since Blair took the reins from former AD Mike O’Brien. In 2022-23, UT became the first FBS school in history to win outright conference championships in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, women’s cross country, women’s tennis, and men’s tennis. The Rockets won three consecutive Cartwright Awards, presented annually to the MAC’s top overall athletic department.
