Titans' Three-Point Barrage Sends Rockets to 75-72 Defeat

DETROIT, MI – Detroit's red-hot shooting from the perimeter proved to be too much for Toledo (6-3) to overcome on Wednesday in a 75-72 setback to the Titans (4-3) in Calihan Hall. UD buried 13-of-27 (48.1 percent) shots from three-point range, including 7-of-12 in the second-half, for the most by a Rocket opponent this season.

Freshman guard Jaelan Sanford had a chance to hit a three-pointer at the buzzer for a second-straight game but his shot rimmed out.

Junior guard Jonathan Williams topped the Rocket attack with a game-high 22 points, while senior center Nathan Boothe tallied his fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 boards.
