Three decades later, Dan Williams is still Toledo's highest-ever NFL draft pick

The name Dan Williams is still mentioned at reunions for the 1992 Mid-American Conference champions.

Williams, a hulking 6-foot-4, 290-pound University of Toledo defensive end, is one of the most dominant players in MAC history. Of course, he would be mentioned at a gathering of former players. What makes it noteworthy, however, is that Bowling Green won the 1992 MAC title.
