1. Can the Rockets ride a favorable schedule to MAC West title?
Toledo is the pick to win the MAC West according to a preseason media poll. The schedule breaks well for the Rockets as they host Western Michigan and Northern Illinois, the two main threats in the West, at the Glass Bowl. Toledo will be tested in the non-conference schedule and will have to be ready at the beginning of the conference slate as the game with WMU is their first MAC matchup.
