An element of mystery surrounds the University of Toledo going into Saturday’s rivalry game vs. Bowling Green thanks to the health status of quarterback Mitch Guadagni, who suffered a concussion Saturday at Fresno State.
Whether Guadagni or Eli Peters starts, Toledo will hope to be able to pile up points. The Rockets have scored 44, 42, and 66 points in the last three games vs. the Falcons and topped 60 this year in wins vs. VMI and Nevada.
Here are the keys to the Toledo attack on Saturday.
1. Toledo will need to get the run game going: Toledo has always leaned heavily on its running game no matter how good the skill is at quarterback or how accomplished the receivers are.
