TOLEDO, Ohio – Freshman outside hitter Taylor Alt has been named Second-Team All-MAC, the league office announced on Wednesday. The Ottawa, Ohio native was also named to the league's All-Freshman team.
Alt was outstanding in her first season with the Rockets. She finished the regular season ranked third in the MAC in kills per set (3.87) and scoring (4.40 points per set), leading all freshmen in the league in both categories. Her kills per set total is the eighth-highest in a single season in program history and the best since 2013 (Lauren Rafdal, 3.97). Alt played in 18 matches this season, starting all 18, and turned in some of the best performances ever by a Toledo player.
