TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore Taylor Alt of the Toledo women's volleyball team has earned all-region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the organization announced Tuesday.
A two-time First-Team All-MAC selection, Alt is the second Rocket ever to earn AVCA Midwest All-Region honors, joining former Toledo volleyball standout Lauren Rafdal (2013).
Alt put together one of the best seasons by a Rocket ever in 2021. She averaged 4.04 kills/set and 4.65 points/set this year, placing her second in the MAC in both categories and also ranking in the Top 10 among underclassmen in the nation.
