Since 2019, the University of Toledo women’s cross country team has done nothing but win under coach Andrea Grove-McDonough.
The Rockets claimed their fifth consecutive Mid-American Conference championship Nov. 1 at Buffalo, marking their 11th title in program history — the most in the league by any school.
Toledo captured five of the top 15 positions in the race for 32 points and was 30 points ahead of second-place Ohio, which had 62 points.
This year, however, was different. The Rockets lost three of their top five runners from a season ago and, unlike many college programs in 2025, it rebuilt with talent from within.
