The former University of Toledo standout played two seasons in the Canadian Football League, where he won a pair of Grey Cups, before spending six years in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.

Hawkins recorded 2,876 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in his professional playing career, retiring from football in 2017. He then joined ESPN a year later and was a founding anchor for SportsCenter on Snapchat that currently has more than 9 million subscribers.

In 2019, Hawkins became an analyst at NFL Network and was recently re-signed to appear as an on-air talent for ESPN’s First Take, Get Up, and NFL Live shows.
