RICHMOND, Ky. – Senior Stephanie Sherman led the University of Toledo women's track and field team on Day Two of the Rick Erdmann Twilight on Saturday, placing second in the 5000m Invitational. Sherman ran across the finish line with a personal-best time of 16:15.81 and currently ranks first in the Mid-American Conference with three weeks to go before the MAC Championships (May 7-8).
Junior Semra Karaslan finished 10th in the 5000m Invitational with a personal-best time of 16:45.03, following closely behind was sophomore Madeline Vining in 11th with a personal-best time of 16:47.
