Stephanie Sherman Named Toledo Nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year

TOLEDO, Ohio – Former track and cross country runner Stephanie Sherman has been named the University of Toledo's nominee for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

Sherman was a two-time runner-up in the 10,000m at the MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning second-team All-America honors in that event by coming in 16th place at the 2021 NCAA Championship Meet. She also came in second place in the 5000m at the 2021 MAC Outdoor Championships. Sherman held a 3.94 GPA while earning her bachelor's degree in bioengineering in May of 2021, and is currently working on her MBA.
