TOLEDO, Ohio - Brad Pierson has been promoted to associate head athletic trainer and assistant director of sports medicine at the University of Toledo. In addition to Pierson's promotion, Mackenzie Haines and Alex Shoup have been added to the department as assistant athletic trainers.
"Brad has done a fantastic job for us and his promotion is well deserved," Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine Brian Jones said. "He is hands down one of the best young professionals I have worked with in my 21 years at UT."
Pierson is in his fourth season on UT Sports Medicine staff and works directly with the women's basketball program.
