LANSING, MI – The Toledo women's tennis team fell to Michigan State Saturday morning, 7-0 at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility.
Sophomore Claire Aleck and Mimi Kendall-Woseley were the only Rockets of the day to claim a victory.
Aleck and Kendall-Woseley downed the Spartan duo of Emily Metcalf and Allie Baer in the form of a 4-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
UT's freshman DeeDee Leenabanchong put up a fight against MSU's Lexi Baylis. Leenabanchong came up short in the first set of the No. 4 singles competition, 7-5, before falling 6-0 to Baylis in the second set of the match.
