TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's golf team posted its best round of the tournament in Tuesday's final round to finish with a team score of 938 at the Inverness Intercollegiate. The Rockets shot an 18-over par 302 today on the par-71, 6,421-yard Inverness Club layout to finish in 11th place.
"We improved throughout tournament and that's what I'm looking for," first-year head coach Ali Green said. "Three different individuals led us each round on what was probably the toughest golf course we will play all year. We're extremely thankful for the opportunity to host our tournament at a world-class course like Inverness.
