Son of former Toledo OL goes viral after committing to Michigan, trashing Ohio State

The son of a former Toledo football player has gone viral.

Luke Hamilton, whose father, Steve, was an offensive lineman at Toledo, committed to Michigan on Sunday.

The Avon four-star offensive tackle was the second player who visited Ohio State for Saturday’s Michigan game to commit to the Wolverines in the aftermath of their 45-23 victory. Neither Hamilton nor Cameron Calhoun, a cornerback from Cincinnati, had Ohio State offers. But the optics are horrible for the Buckeyes and head coach Ryan Day.

And Hamilton’s comments are an even bigger problem for OSU.

“After going to Ohio State and seeing how they treated us, and it wasn’t on the good side of treating people,” he told the Lorain Morning Journal.
