TOLEDO, Ohio – Senior Sloane Teske picked up her second Mid-American Conference Women's Singles Player of the Week honor this season, the league announced on Thursday.
Teske went 2-0 last weekend from the No. 2 singles court to help Toledo defeat Buffalo and Bowling Green. The two wins extended Teske's individual winning streak to five matches and her conference record to eight-straight matches since last April.
The Grand Rapids, Mich. native was honored earlier this season on April 16, and now has four Singles Player of the Week honors on her resume.
Toledo has won its last six matches to enter this weekend's match at 13-3 (5-0 MAC) and at the top of the East Division standings.
