CLEVELAND, Ohio – Senior Stjepan Sisko has been named the Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday. This is the first time Sisko has been named this season and the 12th time he has earned the weekly honor in his career.
"Stjepan's changed gears in the past couple of weeks," said Head Coach Al Wermer. "As with any athlete, sometimes they put too much pressure on themselves and it can be counterproductive. I think his confidence is back and he seems really focused."
Sisko went undefeated last weekend and dominated the top of the in his final two home matches at Toledo.
