TOLEDO, Ohio - University of Toledo Senior Associate Athletic Director Kelly Andrews announced today that she will retire from her position this spring. Andrews has served as the Rockets' senior woman administrator for the past 21 years. In that time, she has served as sport supervisor for teams that have won 23 Mid-American Conference Championship titles and made 11 NCAA Championship appearances.
"I am so very thankful for the opportunities that being a Rocket has provided me over these many years," said Andrews. "I appreciate the leadership, mentorship and friendship of (former Toledo athletic director) Mike O'Brien during our 20 years together.
