MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Saturday's regular-season finale between the Toledo baseball team and Central Michigan has been canceled due to rain.
The Rockets were leading the Chippewas, 4-1, in the top of the fourth inning at Theunissen Stadium in Mount Pleasant, but after a lengthy rain delay the field conditions were deemed unsatisfactory.
Toledo will end the 2022 regular season with a 32-23 record and a 23-16 mark in MAC play and it has clinched the No. 3 seed in the MAC Tournament. Ball State (38-17, 32-7 MAC) won the regular season title and will host the tournament.
