TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball alumna Sammi Mikonowicz has joined the Rockets' coaching staff as a graduate assistant, the program announced on Wednesday.
Mikonowicz, who holds several UT program records, begins her first season on the sidelines after finishing her playing career in 2025. She will handle duties related to player development, recruiting, day-to-day operations and more in her role.
"Having Sammi join our staff is an absolute slam dunk," said Head Coach Ginny Boggess. "She is Blue Collar, Gold Standard, and I can't imagine a more perfect opportunity for us both.
