Buffalo, N.Y. - Toledo freshmen divers Joelle Gallais and Sydney Jackson wrapped up day one of the University at Buffalo Diving Invitational this afternoon. Both Rockets put up strong efforts in the morning 1-meter preliminaries, but neither advanced to the 1-meter finals.
"There were some ups and downs today but overall I am happy with how it went, especially since Joelle and Sydney competed some new dives for the first time," diving coach Gabby Agostino said. "Overall it was a good first day and we're looking forward to getting back after it tomorrow morning.
