TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field team will head north to East Lansing, Mich. on Friday to take part in the Spartan Invite hosted by Michigan State.
The Rockets are coming off of a split squad weekend with the distance runners competing in the Raleigh Relays and the sprinters/jumpers/hurdlers taking part in the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational in Cincinnati.
At the Raleigh Relays, freshman Mercy Kinyanjui recorded the second-best time in school history after finishing the 5000m at 16:01.58. Senior Madeline Vining also ran a personal best time of 16:20.
