TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team got a second-half goal from senior to push past Oakland, 1-0 on Senior Day in the Rockets' 2025 home opener at Paul Hotmer Field on Sunday.
The Rockets' (1-1-1) goal capped off a dominant second half in which Toledo out-shot the Golden Grizzlies (1-2-1) 8-3 and held a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks. For the match, Toledo led 11-4 in shots and 8-1 in corners.
Toledo won its home opener for the first time since 2021. The Rockets have won back-to-back 1-0 decisions against Oakland and have won three-straight against the Horizon League overall.
