TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team has advanced to the first round of the NCAA Championship and will take on Wisconsin on Friday, Nov. 10 in Madison, Wis. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. eastern time at McClimon Soccer Complex.
The Rockets (12-7-3) entered the Mid-American Conference Tournament as the No. 3 seed and won three-straight matches to the win their conference-best fifth tournament title. UT defeated No. 6 seed Western Michigan, No. 2 seed Ball State and No. 4 seed Bowling Green all by a score of 2-1 to advance to the national tournament.
Toledo previously made the NCAA Championship for three-consecutive season from 2006-08 and against in 2011.
