BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Toledo swimming and diving team finished the 2020 Mid-American Conference Championships at Buffalo on Saturday, taking sixth place. Izzy Jones was named to First Team All-MAC.
In todays's final day of action, junior Izzy Jones broke the school record in the 200 backstroke in the preliminary round, reaching the NCAA-B standard with a time of 1:55.61.
"Overall, I think we had an amazing meet today," said interim head coach Brie Globig. "Our backstrokers really showed up and gave us some much needed points. Izzy did a phenomenal job in the finals, and that finish was huge for us.
