CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Toledo softball team was tabbed to finish fifth in the 2020 Mid-American Conference Softball preseason poll, as announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.
Last season, the Rockets brought the MAC Tournament title back to the Glass City with an impressive 6-1 record over the four-day affair. Toledo claimed the first tournament title in program history and became the lowest seed (seventh) in MAC history to win the crown. The Rockets return 12 players to the roster, including MAC Tournament MVP Erin Hunt who went 6-0 in the tournament, striking out 28 batters and finishing with a 2.
