Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team (8-5-1, 4-2-0 MAC) posted a 2-0 shutout of Central Michigan (5-9-0, 3-3-0 MAC) today, giving the Rockets their first back-to-back victories since the start of September and establishing a three-match winning streak. Sophomore Alex Troy netted her third of the season, and senior captain Hannah Scafaria notched her 13th.
Scafaria's goal puts her in second place for most goals in a single season at UT. Two more and she'll tie for the most with Molly Cornwell (2007) and Corrie Hasenjager (2000).
