TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team closed out its first double dual match day of the season with 7-0 sweep victories over visiting Wayne State and Findlay on Friday. The victories make the Rockets 5-1 in dual matches this season, including 4-0 at home, and extended their winning streak to five matches.
Toledo won all but one match in the morning session with Wayne State. In doubles competition, and swept their Warrior competitors (6-0) on the No.1 court. and secured the doubles point win for UT with a 6-2 win on the No. 3 court. The Rockets ran away with the meet in singles competition, winning every court by nearly two sets.
