TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo's Pawit Sornlaksup and Marko Galic swept this week's Mid-American Conference Singles and Doubles Team of the Week honors, the league announced on Tuesday. Sornlaksup was named Singles Player of the Week for the second time, while he and Galic were tabbed the Doubles Team of the Week for the third time this season.
Sornlaksup clinched match point at the No. 1 singles court in Toledo's 4-3 victory at Western Michigan on Sunday afternoon. His win avenged his defeat to Anton Arzhankin, who ended Sornlaksup's two-year undefeated streak (22-0) on March 17.
