DeKALB, Ill. – The Toledo women's tennis team picked up its second Mid-American Conference win of the season Friday afternoon in a 7-0 sweep vs. Northern Illinois. The win improves the Rockets to 11-3, 2-0 MAC and marked career win No. 235 for head coach Tracy Mauntler since being named to the helm in the 2003 season.
"I am proud of our team and the confidence they played with today," Mauntler said. "We controlled this match from start to finish."
Toledo won the double point with wins on the first two courts but not without a fight.
