Raleigh, N.C. – The Toledo women's track and field team produced several personal bests at this weekend's Raleigh Relays that concluded on Saturday. Junior Semra Karaslan highlighted the meet by finishing ninth in the 3000m steeplechase with a personal-best time of 10:15.19.
"Overall, it was a terrific start to the outdoor season for this group," said Head Coach Andrea Grove-McDonough. "I am really looking forward to seeing how well they progress into our post-season championships."
Grove-McDonough added that Karaslan's time may be good enough to land her in the NCAA East Prelims come May 27-29.
