BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team took care of business on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 sweep of its Battle of I-75 rival Bowling Green. The victory extended the Rockets' regular-season Mid-American Conference winning streak to 17 matches.
UT (13-4, 6-0 MAC) defeated Bowling Green, 6-1, on March 24 and has won its last seven meetings against the Falcons.
Toledo picked up right where it left off in its last match with Bowling Green and took all three doubles courts to secure the team point. The Rockets won the opening set on five of the courts en route to two-set victories.
