TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo sent its 22 seniors out in style on Saturday afternoon with a dominating 49-14 victory over Akron (2-10, 1-7 MAC) at the Glass Bowl in its final regular season game. The Rockets (7-5, 5-3 MAC) will now wait unit next Sunday's bowl announcements to see where they will play their final game of the season.
"We accomplished our goal today which was to send off our senior class with a win in their final game in the Glass Bowl," Head Coach Jason Candle said. "I really credit our seniors and the upperclassmen on the way the battled for all 60 minutes.
