TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's soccer program has earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches for the 2019-20 academic year after tying for 14th place among NCAA Division I programs. The Rockets are receiving the honor for a sixth-consecutive year and 17th time overall.
Toledo ranked first in the Mid-American Conference with a 3.76 GPA last year, including a school-record 3.83 mark in the 2020 spring semester. Seven Rockets currently possess a perfect 4.0 GPA. The members of the program who have received an 'A' in every class at UToledo are junior Lexa Bauer, sophomore Allison Beaumont, redshirt freshman Emma Boutorwick, sophomore Marcy Clark, junior Ashton Cassell, junior Betsy Lueck and sophomore Brooke Stonehouse.
