Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo men's golf team was recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) with the announcement of the 2019 Team Academic Awards. The award is presented to teams that finished with a cumulative grade-point average 3.0 or higher. The Rockets received Special President's Recognition as one of 19 NCAA Division I programs that posted a 3.5 GPA or higher. Toledo finished the 2018-19 academic year with a team GPA of 3.592.
To be eligible for GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors, a college or university must submit GPAs for each player on their official squad list for the academic year.
